The Swedish-American start-up, AMENDI, known for its unique take on transparency with their  Fabrication Facts tag, and sleek modern aesthetic, will open its first door this Fall at the popular Nordic department store NK in Gothenburg Sweden.

AMENDI, a moniker for “amendments,” was cofounded by former executives of pioneering organic denim brand, Nudie Jeans Co. But unlike other “green” brands AMENDI believes transparency and traceability are the key to a better industry. “The store inside of NK will allow us to communicate our complex story even better to customers,” says Andreas Ahrman, CEO, and cofounder. “We’re excited to be the first fully transparent and traceable brand inside such a historic retail environment as NK.”

The store, which is slated to open October 15th, will be around 520 square feet and will feature locally sourced vintage material and clean industrial aesthetics. The space is being designed by chief designer and cofounder of AMENDI, Julia Ahrman. “I never think to design only towards beauty but also toward sustainability and function. My goal is to bring all those elements to life in this physical space,” says Julia.

The store will stock AMENDI’s core denim range made of GOTS certified organic cotton, as well as their new Fall season entitled Nothing Divine Dies. You can learn more about AMENDI and by visiting www.AMENDI.com
